The Swiss business software bexio promises to make administration very easy for SMEs. From contact management, offers, invoices and orders, to banking and accounting, the software covers everything important and, above all, necessary. (Sidenote: Features that are only included in the Pro or Pro+ version of bexio are not discussed here). Bexio is also cloud software that promises data security through Swiss data centers. A point that is particularly important when it comes to the sensitive subject of accounting.

  • Email attachments: Important accounting documents are often received by email, such as invoices as attachments. These attachments can easily be automatically uploaded to bexio and are therefore immediately available. This can be done in small detours even if the document is not as an attachment but in the text of the email.
  • Upload documents: Sometimes it is necessary that documents are not only available in bexio, but also in Dropbox or GoogleDrive, for example. Instead of uploading the documents separately to both locations, the documents can easily be uploaded to bexio and used as a new document.
  • Integrate CRM with bexio: Customer data is usually also available in CRM. By integrating a CRM such as Pipedrive with bexio, all changes or new installations are automatically synchronized. Of course, the same goes with Hubspot or other CRM software
  • Manage contacts: The bexio API interface makes it possible to manage contacts, such as customers or suppliers. Addresses, telephone numbers, or email addresses can be bundled in a collection and automatically created, retrieved, or updated.
  • Integrate a shop: If a person buys a product in your shop, for example Shopify, a new customer account is created not only in the shop system. This also automatically triggers a new person in bexio.
  • Newsletter marketing: With bexio integration with Mailchimp, a newsletter tool, new or updated people from bexio can be automatically added to Mailchimp as subscribers to a newsletter list. In this way, your email marketing is always up to date and no customer receives an email that is actually not intended for them at all.
