Important background information

Our client is a company that focuses on professional networking, recruitment and talent acquisition solutions and has established itself as a key player in connecting job seekers and employers. It offers a talent acquisition platform that combines effective applicant management with active and passive search. In this way, our client wants to offer customers easy access to talent and modern hiring solutions.

To interact efficiently with their customers, our customer used an intelligent customer engagement platform that helped them collect and unify data, segment their audience, create individual customer journeys, and interact with their audience across various channels. In this way, our client was able to build personal relationships with their customers, regardless of their size or technical expertise, provide personalized customer experiences, and efficiently manage lead information.

CRM integration with Zapier

To maximize their potential, our client integrated their customer engagement platform with the customer relationship management system (CRM) salesforce. This integration was essential for tracking interactions and efficiently managing customer relationships.

To automate these processes, our customer used the automation tool Zapier, with which he was able to create fully automated workflows without the need for programming knowledge. This in turn increased its productivity, efficiency, and consistency. Within Zapier, Zaps implemented, which collected important user information from Salesforce and transferred it back to the customer engagement platform to facilitate subsequent customer segmentation.

Optimized processes in Make

However, our customer wanted a more flexible, cost-effective solution that would allow them to make more specific adjustments to filter their customers. He therefore turned to Wemakefutureto get from Zapier to the no-code iPaaS automation platform Make change trains. With its user-friendly visual interface, flexibility, and cost-effective packages, Make was the ideal choice for automating and optimizing our client's work processes.

Before implementing the automation platform change, we developed a customized make app for our customer's customer engagement platform. We connected the required endpoints and ensured private access to the app. We then began to replicate the existing Zaps in Make.

To do this, we reviewed every single relevant Zap and examined their triggers, actions, and other step details. The purpose of these Zaps was primarily to transfer relevant information from Salesforce to our customer's customer engagement platform. Here, users were examined for their cross-sell potential and then segmented accordingly.

After a thorough analysis of the Zaps, we recreated them one-to-one in Make and made sure that all necessary steps in the Make scenarios were exactly replicated. After we had re-created the Zaps in Make, we optimized the workflows and provided a certain flexibility, which enabled our customer to adapt their processes and filter customers according to specific criteria, such as by contact or contract types. This enabled more intelligent and precise adjustments to existing work processes.

Successful automation platform migration

Through strategic integrations and the move to a platform that better met their needs, our client — a leader in professional networking, recruiting, and talent acquisition — was able to significantly improve their customer interaction options. By initially using salesforce and Zapier A robust automated workflow was set up to efficiently manage and segment customer data. However, in search of greater flexibility and cost efficiency, the company switched to the automation platform with our support Make.

With this step, the existing workflows were not only replicated, but also refined and offered the customer extended customization options. Developing the custom Make app for our client's customer engagement platform and seamlessly migrating its Zaps enabled our customer to create personalized and efficient customer journeys.
